We designed this intense masters certification program to support all LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method facilitators who are looking to take their play-based practice to the top level. This program is based on extensive winning frameworks that deliver results. Once facilitators have completed all programs, we award them with the LSP MASTERS level certificate and badge.
We designed this for those who are already successfully offering LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods workshops and want more knowledge and skills to apply this amazing tool in more complex situations. Participants build on their existing LEGO® facilitation skills and experience multiple new approaches and applications, allowing them to apply this playful approach in any of the following situations where teams and groups are working:
• Communication strategies for brands, leaders, teams, or organizations
• Service delivery or product development systems designs and improvements
• Tabletop strategy and risk management, including disaster planning and bulletproofing
• Conflict analysis & management and stakeholder analysis
• Project planning and team development
Learners attend 4 intense training workshops over 4 days, offered as condensed end-user workshops.
Utilizing a scaffolding approach, each workshop forms the foundation for the next, advancing in difficulty each day. We created this program as a flip classroom. This provides participants with a high-energy, hands-on workshop experience in a face-to-face classroom setting and has the added benefit of self-serve online learning. The online program includes videos and readings available before and after the intense workshop experience to solidify learning transfer.
The program totals over 100 hours of 3D thinking and learning:
• Examine LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methods with multiple new facilitator designs.
• Explore a variety of different applications for group processes using 3D thinking.
• Create individual and group models and systems to address internal and external scenarios.
• Examine group dynamics and consider strategies to respond to emerging situations.
• Emerge with a full tool kit that includes agendas built with interchangeable blocks for multiple uses.
